Mrs. Joan C. Rogers, 85, of Raeford Ave., died Thursday, August 27, 2020 at her residence.

A private funeral service will be Thursday at Buncombe Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00-5:00 PM.

She was born in Davidson County on May 25, 1935 to Damon Crump and Lula Mason Crump.She was a member of Buncombe Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Edna Crump McIntosh and a brother, Thomas Crump.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons: Randall Crump of Lexington, Thomas Rogers of High Point and Tony Rogers; four daughters: Janice Faye Tate, Joyce (Roger) Quintero both of Lexington, Gwen Robinson of Winston-Salem and Donna Eller of Lexington; three brothers: Willie Roy Crump of Lexington, Calvin Crump of Atlanta, Ga. and Louis Crump; three sisters: Nora Hairston, Annie Lee Arnett and Christine Peebles all of Lexington; 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
