Obituary
Joeann Aiken Harris was born on October 9, 1955 to Lily Mae Aiken in Abbeville, South Carolina. She passed away on August 8, 2024 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
Joeann received her formal education in South Carolina and was a graduate of Abbeville High School. Religiously, Joeann accepted Christ as her savior at the tender age of 13 and was united with Mt. Zion Church.
Joeann Aiken was united in holy matrimony with Raymond W. Harris on February 9, 1985 in Lexington, North Carolina and their union was blessed with three children. She worked in the medical field as a CNA for 18 years in Home Health. When her schedule would allow, Joeann enjoyed shopping, spending time with her precious grandchildren and most certainly relaxing in her leisure.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Joshua Harris, Meleke Harris and Princess Harris; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Tracy Graham, Mary Aiken; nieces: EFI and Anika Graham, Angelina Madison, Kyla Williams; nephews: Nicolas and Thomas Sloan, Cory Aiken; and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will was held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Abbeville, South Carolina.
