Obituary
Mr. Johnny Leroy Dawkins, Sr, 62, was born January 30, 1960 in Davidson County to John Henry Dawkins and Eula Pearl Moore Dawkins. He departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Dawkins was educated in the Lexington City Schools System and worked as custodian for Lexington Middle School. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Johnny L. "Lee Lee" Dawkins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Andria (Derrick) Nyarko; three grandchildren; four siblings: James Edward Dawkins, Tommy (Robin) Dawkins, Beverly (Lawrence "Ben") Dawkins Bowman and William Carter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private funeral service will be held Friday.
