Johnny Ray Terry, 62, of Grubb Rd., died Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

The funeral service will be Sunday at 3:00pm at Yadkin Star Baptist Church with family visitation a half hour before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be Saturday from 1:00pm -7:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born in High Point, NC on October 15, 1952, to Redell Terry and Louneala Traynham Vereen. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Traynham.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mildred H. Terry; four daughters, Angela Williams, Shirley Curry, Wendy (Rodney) Cathcart and Samantha Hannah; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Howard Traynham, Rufus Terry and Bernard (Misty) Terry; five sisters, Darlene Terry, Josephine Mitchell, Debra (Bernard) Howard, Jackie Terry and Carolyn Vereen and a host of cousins and friends.
