Mrs. Joyce Denise Henderson Perez, 58 of W. 6th Ave. passed Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral service will be Monday at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church on Village Dr. Burial will be Tuesday at Noon at Salisbury National Cemetery.

There will be no public viewing.

She was born in Davidson County on September 15, 1956 to the late Charlie Sowells and Margaret Henderson.She was a member of Life In the Word Church and was last employed with Lexington Memorial Hospital as an Emergency Room Registor.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Eugeno Perez of Charlotte; a grandchild; three brothers, Larry Henderson, David Henderson and Charles Henderson; a sister, Louise Pipkin and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
