Keenan W. Young, 53, of the Midway community, was born January 13, 1968 to Patricia D. Young and the late Percy Lee Young.He departed this life on August 17, 2021 at his residence.

He was a 1987 graduate of North Davidson Senior High School.Bubba, as he was known, was employed in the furniture industry the majority of his life, with the most recent employment at United Furniture in Winston-Salem, NC.

Bubba leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Patricia Young of Midway; a daughter, Kenya Alexis Young and her mother, Lisa McCauley both of Georgia; his fianc, Karla Leverette;three brothers: Stanley Young, Carlos Young and Benton Pierce; a sister, Monica Young; a godchild, NiShirah Payne of Thomasville; 9 nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral service will be Sunday at Gates of Zion Worship Center at 2:00pm, with family visitation at 1:30pm.
