Kenneth G. Woods, Sr., 57, of Pennington Ave., died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 2:00pm at Files Chapel Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.Public viewing will be Monday from 1:00pm -6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born August 23, 1964 in Davidson County to Nennie Woods Leverette and the late William Reo Nance.He was educated in the Lexington City Schools System.He was a member of Files Chapel Baptist Church where he sang on the men's choir and was a member of the usher board and hospitality committee.He was also a member of the Acacia Lodge No. 66.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Nennie W. (Rayvon) Leverette; four sons: Kenneth (Aundie) Woods, Jr., O'Neil Woods, Marcus (Megan) Woods, Patrick (Amber) Woods; three daughters: LaPortia Woods, LeQuisha Lattimore and Brandy Woods; a brother, Lamont Woods; 22 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
