Kim Michell Jacobs, 52, departed this earthly life Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was born on October 14, 1970 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to William Perry and Clintonia "Ann" Long.

She received her formal education from the local Winston-Salem Forsyth County Public Schools. She was employed with Smith Dry Cleaners and Laundry.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Clintonia "Ann" Long and father, William Perry; brother, Ernest "Butch" Long; and grandchildren, Taylen Jacobs and Layla Young.

Kim leaves to cherish her memories, her mother-in-law, Patricia Jacobs; daughters, Janeka Kirk, Shawnteria Jacobs; sons, Taji (Jasmine) Jacobs, Sr., Christopher Long; grandchildren: Alexis Paige, Aniyah Wilson, Jade Wilson, Shelton Wilson, Jr., Jace Jacobs, Khalilah Jacobs and Taji Jacobs, Jr.; sister, Tammy Long; aunts: Aldetra Thompson, Wanda Sanders, Betty Williams; sister-in-law, Viyonda Simmons; nephews: Shaquan Long, Aquan Long, Jaquan Simmons, Dontay Long, Thomas Wilson, Sean Long, Deques Long, Tyree Long; nieces, Maquana Simmons, Mekaila Blackwell; and a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Her life will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel (Winston-Salem) with moments of visitation at 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
