K'Mequa LaQuall Bussey was born March 24, 1993 in Davidson County to Christopher L. Pearson and Chaun'Dee Bussey Pearson. On February 1, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, K'Mequa was called home to rest.
She was educated in the Lexington City School System until moving to High Point and graduated from T. Wingate Andrew High School. She was a member of Files Chapel Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents; a son, Chadric Barnes, Jr.; a daughter, M'Kenzi Hale; a brother, K'Derrus Bussey of High Point; two sisters, Kiera (Mike) Cobb of Thomasville and Kiezna Pearson of Lexington; maternal grandparents, Joe Bussey and Bernice B. Bush both of Lexington; paternal grandmother, Darlene Pearson of Lexington; maternal great grandfather, Nathan "Bud" Bussey; two nieces, Ka'Nariya and KeAla Bussey and a nephew, Karson Bussey whom she treated as her very own children; a devoted friend, Shiasia Harris; two uncles, Carliss (Tara) Bussey of Seattle, Washington and Brad Bussey of Lexington and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
