Obituary

Mr. L.B. Bobo, 85, of Cotton Grove Rd., died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Henry Etta and Bruce Hinkle Hospice House.

He was born in Greenwood County, South Carolina to Lamberth and Elizabeth Beets Martin Bobo on April 28, 1933. He retired from Mid-State Tile as a forklift operator and was a member of Files Chapel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ella Mae Wilson Bobo; a sister, Mary B. Richards and six brothers, George, Leonard, Willie, Truman, Thomas and Robert.

L.B. is survived by five daughters: Nancy Burns, Jeanett Leverette, Karen (Benjamin) Dowd, Cozette (Bobby) Henderson and Gladys (Billy Joe) Gilley; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin (Carrie) Bobo; four sisters: Pearlee McMillion, Kathleen (Carlton, Sr.) Pittman, Vernice Lindsay and Fannie Mae Yarbrough and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at Files Chapel Baptist Church at 2:30pm with family visitation at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
