LaKeshia Willette Smith, affectionately known as "Keshia," passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 42. She was born on March 14, 1983 in Davidson County to Cherry Smith Cowan and Ricky Clark.

Keshia was educated in the Lexington City School System and continued to further her education. She was a former member of Files Chapel Baptist Church and was employed with Bank of America.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Cherry (Rev. Dr. William) Cowan and Ricky Clark; her brother, William Shamon Cowan; her maternal grandmothers, Pauline W. Smith and Mary Cowan; her paternal grandmother, Carrie Poole; eight aunts: Angela Smith, Beverly Smith, Katrina (Charles) Carter, Jackie (Corrin) Davis, Cynthia (Rick) Price, France (Ben) Hill, Toni Cowan and Renee Cowan; three uncles, Greg Smith, Jeffery (Kim) Cross and Eric Cowan; as well as a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 12:30 PM at Files Chapel Baptist Church, with family visitation beginning at 12:00 noon.
