Larry Edward "Butch" Sowers, 68, of London Ct., died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at his residence.

Graveside service will be Monday at South Lexington City Cemetery at 11:00 am.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born on January 22, 1950 in Davidson County to Lewis Franklin Sowers and Mozela Norman Sowers. He was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by parents; a sister, Loretta Sowers and two brothers, Jimmy and Montell Sowers.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Greg Sowers; a nephew, Vidal Sowers; two great nieces, Anyiah Sowers and Shaylah Sowers; extended family, the Woodberry's and other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Carolyn Pompey Wright, the Cancer Center of Davidson County, the Davis' and anyone who just took the time out to speak and put a smile on Butch's face.
