Our Heavenly Father, in His divine wisdom, called L.C. Flowers, age 82, to eternal rest on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

L.C. was born on March 10, 1943 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to the late Grady Flowers. We give honor and thanks to our Lord and Savior for his amazing life, his gratitude and the lasting impression he left on the lives of so many.

On August 2, 1965, L.C. was united in marriage to Marcella "Peggy" Henry Flowers. They shared 53 years together until Peggy's passing. To this union, three sons were born: Jimmy Jevon Flowers, L.C. Flowers, Jr. and Alexander O'Neal Flowers.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his beloved wife, Marcella "Peggy" Flowers; his son, Jimmy Jevon Flowers; and eight siblings: Eugene Tanner, Ruth Tanner, Ila Mae Tanner, Lester Tanner, Unice Tanner, Geneva Tanner, Mary Frances Tanner and Betty Jean Polk.
L.C. leaves to cherish his memory two sons, L.C. (Lisa) Flowers, Jr. and Alexander O'Neal Flowers; two sisters, Annie Dunlap and Windy Mathis; two sisters-in-law, Willie Ann Poole and Sarah Canty Henry; fourteen grandchildren: Luvinnia (Charity) LaToya Flowers, Corey Dunn, Ryan Jevon Flowers, Alexander Perry, L.C. (Porsha) Flowers III, Ian Jaquan Flowers, Kelsey Flowers, Brandon Rudd, Mariah Flowers, Ciarra McCormick, Kierra McCormick, Jevon Flowers, Xavier Flowers, and Ashton Flowers; fourteen great-grandchildren: Ariana Aaliyah Flowers, Ryan Jevon Flowers, Riley Giovanni Flowers, Ariyan Chonte Flowers, Kylie Witherspoon, Corey Dunn, Jr., Precious Dunn, Jazanse Dunn, Alex Dunn, Alaiyah M. Blockem, Acieyon M. McCormick, Kenyani J. Royster, Alexander O'Neal Perry, II and Landon Christian Flowers; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, August 15, 2025 at 12:30pm Friendship Baptist Church with family visitation at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Righteous Church of God. Public viewing will be Thursday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00pm -5:00pm.
