Linda Lou Baber, 76, of Kernersville, North Carolina, passed away on Friday evening, September 13, 2024 at Trinity Glen. She was born June 6, 1948 in Canton, Ohio to the late Marcellus Eugene and Mary Caffie Baber. Linda Lou, as she was affectionately known, is survived by nine siblings: William Baber, Jack Baber, Patricia Armstead, Joann Baber, Jimmy Baber, Johnny Baber, Robert Baber, Rose Eason and Ronnie Baber; living between Texas and Ohio.


In her earlier years, she worked for Time Warner Cable from which she retired. Religiously, she was a proud member of Union Baptist Church of Winston-Salem and had a dedicated relationship with God. She led a very active life by exercising regularly at the senior center, going out with friends, traveling and even picked up a part-time job at Gabe's to stay occupied. Linda was very personable, caring and loving, being good to everyone who crossed her path and made friends everywhere she went. She will be most remembered for her generous heart and the many ways she donated of her time, talents and means to various charitable organizations.


Amongst her immediate family members, she leaves behind cousins, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends old and new, near and far.


Funeral services celebrating her life will not be held at this time.
