Linda Staten Carter, 67, of Rockford Street, Winston-Salem, slipped away to be with the Lord of Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Accordius Health @ Clemmons.She was born on September 19, 1953 to the late Amos Carter and Carrie McLaurin Carter in Sampson County, North Carolina.

She was educated in the local public school system.Her hands would find work in a Government Agency in Washington, DC as a Secretary.Religiously, she was a former member of Woodland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents: Amos Carter and Carrie McLaurin Carter.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Aaron Carter of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; cousin/caregiver, Stephina Walker; other family and friends.

Her beautiful life will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Piedmont Memorial Gardens.No public visitation will be held for Ms. Linda.In accordance with Covid-19 social distancing protocols, all guests are required to wear a face covering or mask.
