Linda M. McMillon Alston, 64, passed away Saturday February 7, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by family.
Graveside service will be at noon Friday at Saint Marks United Methodist Church in Asheboro.
Public viewing will be Thursday from 1-7pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
She was born March 8, 1950 in Davidson County to Sidney Davis and Evelena McMillon Graves. She was educated in the Randolph County School System and later in life obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. Linda was last employed with Stanley Furniture. Linda was a member of Mechanic Baptist Church where she regularly attended until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Davis; three brothers, John McMillon, Elise McMillon, and Plez McMillon and a sister, Geraldine Spruill.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory her beloved and devoted mother, Evelena M. Graves; devoted sister, Patricia Scott; sisters Nellie Hoskins and Ruby Wilson; three brothers, Curtis (Arlene) McMillon, Eddie McMillon, and Thomas McMillon; beloved goddaughter whom she raised from the age of five, Constance 'Neice" Cunningham; granddaughter Myeshia Liles; grandsons, Quindarius Cunningham, and Tyrique Cunningham; sister-in-law Bessie McMillon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
