Ms. Linda Lorene Sales, age 74, of Mocksville, NC, peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on Sunday, October 5, 2025 under the compassionate care of Liberty Hospice while a patient at Bermuda Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Advance, North Carolina.


Linda was born on May 7, 1951 in Boonville, North Carolina to the late Ed Sales and Luna Evelyn Gadberry Sales. She attended the public schools of Davie County, North Carolina. Throughout her life, Linda worked as a textile worker at Hanes Narrow Fabrics, retiring in 2008. She was a former member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church in Boonville, North Carolina. In her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to music, watching her favorite games, often time out doing the contestants on Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and crocheting.


In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Lamon Sales, Sr. and Billy Ray Sales, and two sisters, Esther Gadberry and Irene Sales Marshall.


Linda leaves cherished memories with her son, Reginald Lamont Sales of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; a daughter, Valerie Nichole Sales of Mocksville, North Carolina; three sisters: Helen Sales Lewis, Mamie Sales Watkins and Caldonia (Ray) Sales Evans all of Mocksville, North Carolina; seven grandchildren: Jensen Sales, Shelton Sales, Kenya Sales, Jamal Sales, Kyree Davis, Keyon Davis and Zack McDaniel; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their kind words and prayers during this difficult time. Your support has been a source of comfort.
