Lizzie Kate Fields Wiley, age 97, entered God's Kingdom, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, North Carolina. She was born March 11, 1924 in Lincoln County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Jimmy Jones and Corrine Fields Moore and step-father, Tommy Moore who raised her. Some people touch so many lives in a kind and gentle way, those were the qualities that Kate possessed. We have been truly blessed to have shared her beautiful life for so many years. Her memory will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts through eternity.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a member of Golden Eagles of Friendship. Kate has joined her husband, Willie Joe Wiley, Sr.; six brothers: Eddie, Charles, Thomas and Joe Moore, Willie and Norris Jones; six sisters: Eva Mae Holt, Virginia Ann Moore, Eula Pearl Dawkins, Bannie Jones, Marie Jones and Mary Lizzie Johnson and other family members in a place where there is perfect peace and tranquility..

She leaves a legacy of love and devotion for her two sons, Willie Joe (Marietta) Wiley, Jr., Frank (Jean) Wiley; two daughters, Linda Sims and Phoebe Hargrave; 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Service of Life will be Friday at 2:00pm at Friendship Baptist Church with family visitation at 1:30pm.Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery. Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00pm -6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
