Lola Lee Clement Pettiford, 93, passed away December 18, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Davie County, North Carolina to the late Loyal Clement, Sr. and Lola Park Clement. She was married to the late R.D. Pettiford and this union was blessed with seven children. She and her husband lived in New York until 1984 when they returned to Mocksville. In 2012 they moved to Salisbury, NC. She was a dedicated member of New Jerusalem Apostolic Church in Mocksville.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons: Ricky Pettiford, Kevin (Phyllis) Pettiford and Steven Pettiford; four daughters: Carolyn Hallett, Sylvia (James) Stewart, Sandra Pettiford and Patricia Pettiford; one brother, Loyal Clement, Jr.; one sister, Alice Fortune; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM at New Jerusalem Apostolic Church in Mocksville with family visitation at 12:30. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
