Elder Loretta Elaine Davis Arnett was born in Davidson County, North Carolina on October 7, 1944. She was the daughter of Taylor Davis and Ethel Louise Smith Davis. She transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 78.

She received her formal education from Davidson County public schools and also attended LaMae's School of Cosmetology. Prior to retirement, Loretta was employed at PPG Industries in Lexington, NC for 27 years and she was also a beautician.

She was a faithful member of Dorsett Chapel United Church of Christ. She enjoyed ministering the Word of God. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Elder Arnett leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Rev. Brenda (Rev. Rufus) Wyatt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be Thursday at Dorsett Chapel U.C.C. at Noon with family visitation at 11:30am. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Service in Lexington from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Service, Lexington.
