Mrs. Lucy Elizabeth Mayhew, 85, of Grandview Dr., passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Lucy was born in Surry County to Joe Frances and Viola Ceaser Frances on February 23, 1934.She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sandra Mayhew; two brothers, Joseph and Roscoe Frances and two sisters, Louise Archie and Lucy Mayhew.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Ronald Mayhew; a daughter, Beverly McDonald; three brothers: Bobby Frances, Luther Frances and James Frances; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral will beSaturday at 1:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel with family visitation at 12:30pm.
