Our beloved Luvern Andrews was born on February 2, 1949 to the late Willie and Minnie Andrews.He departed this life on Friday, August 23, 2020.

He attended Lee County Public Schools but received his diploma from Job Corp. He was a member of Green Bay Missionary Baptist Church in Lynchburg, South Carolina.

Luvern was a loving, humble, devoted father and husband.In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and watching family feud.

He is survived by a devoted wife of 49 years, Agnes Andrews; three children: Latasha Andrews, Tammy Andrews, Luvern Andrews, Jr.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Willie Andrews and Harry Andrews; four sisters: Thomasina Kennedy, Rose Michael, Ella Mae Laws and Christine McDonald and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Homegoing services celebrating his life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020 from the serenity of Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 3250 High Point Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27107.Public viewing will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem Chapel.

In accordance with social distancing protocols, all guests are required to wear a face mask or covering for all services.
