Mrs. Maggie Lene Chambers, 87, died Friday, March 12, 2021 at Pine Ridge Health & Rehab.
Graveside service will be Saturday at 2:00pm at South Lexington City Cemetery.
She was born June 1, 1933 in Blackburg, South Carolina to Will A. Lockhart and Nora F. Lockhart.She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Dixie Furniture.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Choice Chambers; a son, Martin Chambers and two sisters, Lillie Chambers and Bessie Mae Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Phil Chambers, Eddie Chambers, Leon Chambers, Richard Chambers and Lisa King; a brother, Edward Smith; a sister, Julia Knox; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
