Obituary

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty". Ps 91:1

Mother Margaret Eloise Hines was born on April 5, 1945 to Irvin Vance Hines and Daisy Mae Hines. What better way to enter into this world, than with someone who would share your love, hopes, dreams and family - a twin sister, Margaretta Louise Hines. They are affectionately known to all our family as "Biggon and Lillian". Since birth they have been inseparable.

Margaret transitioned from earthly work into eternal rest on Tuesday evening, August 23, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Margaret was educated in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System and retired from Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Being a woman of wisdom and great faith, she accepted the Lord as her personal savior at an early age. Spiritually she was a devote Christian and was a member and The Mother of Steadfast Life Changing Ministries, Inc.

Margaret was preceded in death by one grandson, Valentino Alston; one great-granddaughter, Taylyn Kate Williams; both her parents; three sisters: Bernice Bloxom, Doris Thomas and Doretha Coates and one brother, Irvin Vance Hines, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Pastor Aldine (Elect Lady Sandra) Ingram, Jr., Allen (Lisa) Ingram and Irvin Jaye (Shawonnea) Ervin; eight grandchildren: LaSonya Ingram, Michelle (Kenneth) Gaddy, Lynette (Tayron) Williams, Aldine (Niesha) Ingram III, Joshua Ingram, Jason Ervin, Irvin Ervin, Jr. and Alonzo Law-Gamero; four great grandchildren, who affectionately called her "granny great": Tayari Williams, Kenneth Gaddy III, Tayron Williams II and Kaicyn Caldwell; four sisters: Gwendolyn Faust-Fuller, Overseer Margaretta Hines, Carrie (Theodore)Weldon and Velma (Walt) Foster; one brother, Bishop Nathaniel Hines; a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, friends and her church family, Steadfast Life Changing Ministries, Inc.

"GOD Grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, the COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference".

The Homegoing service celebrating her graceful life will be conducted 1:00 P.M Monday, August 29, 2022 at Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 3010 Carver School Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina with family moments of sharing at 12:30 P.M. prior to the hour of service. Her mortal frame will find sweet rest in the tranquility of Mt. Gur Cemetery. Mother Hines shall lie in repose Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Facial coverings and/or masks are required for the services.
