Mrs. Marieko Smith Scott, 60, of Beckner St., passed on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at her residence.

The funeral service will be Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Salem Baptist Church with visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Saturday from 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born December 29, 1955, to Fred Holmes, Jr. and Clara Mae Smith. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and served on the usher board and praise team.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mark A. Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Andrew Scott; a son, Clinton Tyrone Payne; a daughter, Melanie Scott-Wright; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ricky Holmes and Dennis Holmes; seven sisters: Mary Ann Valentine, Barbara (Rev. Steve) Davis, Ann (Glen) Craven, Sandra (Teddie) Smith, Tersea Holmes, Tammy (Ray) Peoples and Toinette Holmes; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
