Marvin "Head" Bussey, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

Marvin was born in Lincolnton, Georgia to the late Coleman Bussey and Lessie Mae Hearst Bussey on August 7, 1954. He worked for Metal Bed Rail for many years and other odd jobs in the community. He was a former member of Files Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Joe Louis Hearst.

Head leaves to cherish his memory his three sisters: Bernice Bussey-Bush, Sarah (Boykin) Harris, Brenda (Harold) Bennett; two brothers, Jessie Bussey and Norris Bussey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday at Files Chapel Baptist Church at 2:00pm with family visitation at 1:30pm. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
