Mary Edith Sain Isaac, age 79, answered the Lord's call and received eternal rest from labor to reward Friday morning, June 12, 2026 at her residence in Cooleemee, North Carolina. She was born April 18, 1947 in Davie County, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Leonard A. Sain and Juanita Godbey Ward. We give praise and honor for our beloved's life and are grateful for the many years we shared wonderful memories and milestones on her journey.

She attended the public schools in Davie County, North Carolina, graduating from Davie County High School. Prior to retirement she was employed with the Davie County Home Health Services.

"Edith," as she was affectionately known, was fun-loving and enjoyed working in her yard and traveling. However, her most fulfilling role was that of a wife, mother to her children and grandchildren. The most important job to her was ensuring that her family was cared for.

Her daughter, Angie Brown; brother, Ronnie Sain and sister, Phyllis Blaton, preceded her in death.

She will be fondly remembered with love and affection by her husband of 48 years, Bruce Isaac, Sr. of the home; son, Brad Strader of Cooleemee, North Carolina; stepchildren: Melanie Isaac, Marnie Isaac and Bruce Isaac, Jr.; six grandchildren: Makayla Strader, Brandon Strader, Briana Scott, Mia Isaac, Maya Isaac and De'Maurã Isaac: five great-grandchildren; a brother, Joel (Roxanne) Sain of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 19, 2026 at Roberts Funeral Service (Mocksville).
