Mary Jo Rogers Farley was born June 11, 1963 in Cumberland County to Lavern Rogers and Mary Kelly Silva. Mary Jo was raised by Abraham Silva and Mary Kelly Silva. She loved the outdoors, flowers, hummingbirds, collecting porcelain dolls and hanging out with her family.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavern Rogers, Mary K. Silva and Abraham Silva; a brother, Russell Rogers; and two sisters, Angela Hancock and Margaret Lopez.


Leaving to cherish Mary Jo's memory are her husband, Al Farley; her four fur babies; a step-mother Betty Rogers of Camden, SC; a brother, Ron (Christy) Silva of Arizona; a sister, Rhonda (Alexander) Bermudez of Matthews, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.


As per Mary Jo's wishes there will not be a memorial service. In her own words " If you can't come see me while I'm alive then don't come when I'm gone".


In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
