Mary Elizabeth Wilson Saunders was born April 1, 1952 in Davidson County to Matthew Wilson and Lee Ola Henderson Kemp. She passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Anthony Taylor; two sisters, Lillie Mae Wilson and Sharon Wilson Stafford and two brothers, Odell Wilson and John Thomas Wilson.

Sis Mary leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Reginald Foster and Samuel Wilson; two sisters, Dorthy Wilson Jackson and Brenda Jean Wilson; two sons, Derick Taylor and Edward Taylor; a daughter, Veetra Taylor Martin; ten grandsons: Michael, Dominque, Tyre, Devante, Devon, Antwon, Austin, DeAlow, Casey R. and Aurthor B.; five granddaughters: Ashley, Latoya, Bell, Jada and Brenda; twelve great-grandchildren: Nicolias, Fabian, Hezekiah, Tyre, Jr., Aryah, Serenity, Ezekial, Elijah, Everet, Marice, Amari and Martel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A family celebration will be held at a later date.
