Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Woodberry Cross, 84, of Grubb Rd., died Monday, December 28, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-LMC.

A private graveside service will be on Saturday. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00 -5:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

On July 4, 1936 in Davie County, Mary was born to William and Mattie Timmons Woodberry. She retired from Central Davidson Middle School and was a member of Yadkin Star Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred Cross; a son, James Woodberry; three brothers: Will, Willis and Allen Woodberry and four sisters: Alberta W. Hunter, Evelyn W. Allison, Mary Patterson and Louise Woodbury.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Todd Woodberry; two daughters, Sharon (Coleman) Davis and Leslie (Victor) Randleman; a brother, Gary (Clarissa) Woodberry; a sister, Katherine W. Hoover; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
