Micaiah Noel Hairston was born on October 19, 2006 in Lexington, North Carolina to Marcus Hairston and Yashica Tuttle. On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, Micaiah took her flight to be with the Lord. We thank Our Creator and Maker for all things and for allowing us to share Micaiah's life. She was with us on earth for a short time, but we are grateful for the memories that will forever live in our hearts.

She was a student at Stoner-Thomas School, Lexington, North Carolina. She was a faithful member of Brooks Temple Church, Lexington, North Carolina, where she served on the dance ministry, usher board and the choir.

Micaiah loved her family dearly. Two of her favorite activities that she enjoyed doing with her family were going to the beach and going out to eat.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Wayne Tuttle and her great-grandparents.

Cherished and fond memories of Micaiah will be treasured by her parents, Marcus Hairston and Yashica Tuttle; two sisters, Alia and Malia Hairston; a brother, Ashton Tuttle; special cousins who were like a sister and brother, Amaya Hairston and Jabian Shabazz; grandmothers, Sadie Tuttle and Velvet Hairston; great-grandmother, Virginia Hairston; grandfathers, Torrez "Buddy" Woodberry and Charles "Kelly" Smith; aunts: La'Trai Hairston, Bronna Poole, Reantea Norman, Calandra Norman, Khai Norman, Demetra Fuller, Torrey Woodberry and Alyssa Woodberry; uncles, Dammion Poole and Julian Woodberry; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM, Brooks Temple United Methodist Church with family visitation at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
