Mr. Michael O. Knotts, 60, of W. 6th Ave., died Monday, August 3, 2020 at Hinkle Hospice House.

Public viewing will be on Friday at Roberts Funeral Service from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Lexington City Cemetery with military honors.

He was born in Davidson County to James and Mary Jowers Knotts on May 16, 1960. He severed in the United States Army and work at Schneider Electric in Welcome. Michael was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild; a sister, Dianna Faye K. Dye and a brother, James Ronnie Knotts.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Cheryl C. Knotts; a son, Michael McNeair.; two daughters, Ebony (Northern) Lainer and Katina Chambers; four brothers: Donald (Eloise) Knotts, Jimmy Knotts, Craven Knotts and Stephen (Carmen) Knotts; two sisters, Cora Saunders and Linda (Thomas) Martin; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
