Obituary

Mr. Michael J. Tuttle, 66, of Leonard Ln., died Friday, March 5, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A private service will be on Saturday at Gates of Zion Worship Center. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be Friday from 1-5pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

He was born February 19, 1955 in Davidson County to Glenn H. Lindsay and Lula Mae Delapp.He was educated in the Davidson County School System and graduated from North Davidson High School, Class of 1973. He was affectionately known by many names such as "The Chocolate" and "Bear-Killer." His presence and bold saying always made him the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Harold F. Delapp; brother, Clayton Lindsay and grandparents, Robert and Jessie Tuttle.

He leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Pablo (Faye) Delapp of Winston-Salem, NC and Milton Eller of Midway NC; four sisters: Amy L. Lindsay of Winston-Salem NC, Gloria A. Lindsay of Harmony NC, Bridgett Eller of Midway NC and Mary A. Schoefield of Winston- Salem NC; 6 nieces and 3 nephews, 6 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews and a host of other family and friends.
