Minnie Mayola Banks passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Oak Forest Health Center. She was born in Commerce, Ga to Joseph Banks and Minnie McFarland Banks on April 30, 1931.

Mrs. Mayola retired from Henry Link Furniture and also worked for the Hodges family. She was a faithful member of New Jersey AME Zion Church where she served on the deaconess board and usher board.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters: Sally Lou, Lottie, Annie Bell, Bridgett and Lonnie and five brothers: Lewis, Herschel, Rufus, Joseph and Winford.

She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Reva Owens and a host of nieces and nephews.
