Mrs. Nancy Jane B. Young, 94, of Linwood Rd., died Sunday, December 8, 2019.
She was born April 27, 1925 in Anson County to Edward Baucum and Brent Leake Baucum.She retired from Dixie Plant 1 and was a faithful member of Greater Faith Empowerment Church and was the church mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Young, Sr.; a son, Robert Young, Jr.; two sisters, Anne Worthy and Ernestine Young; a grandson, Pete Barnes, Jr.; three brothers: Charles Baucum,George Baucum and Marshall Smith, Jr. andfive sisters: Esther Rector, Shirley Smith, Christine Smith, Bernice Robinson and Nellie Parker .
Mrs. Nancy Jane leaves a legacy of love and integrity with her family and those who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are a son, Steve Young; three daughters: Wilma Broadie, Veloa Davis and Debbie Young; a brother, Edward Baucum; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday at Righteous Church of God at 1:00pm by Elder Tony Neal with family visitation at 12:30pm.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
