Mrs. Ninette Dillinger Bass, 81, passed away in her home on Wednesday under Wellness Hospice care. She was born on July 23, 1941 to Leroy and Jewell Miles.
She attended Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools. She was a member of Pleasant Union Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, where she was the mother of the church. Ninette loved her church family and loved to cook for church functions. She also enjoyed thrift shopping, gardening, and interior decorating. She was committed to charitable works by always helping those in need and giving to her community, family and friends.
Ninette was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Junior Bass.
She is survived by: two daughters Judy Hauser and Michelle Carter; four sons Keith (Tammy) Miles, Timothy Miles, Wesley (Carol Lee) Hauser, and Rodney Hauser; 5 grandchildren;12 great grandchildren; two sisters Juenelle Sawyer Cuthbertson and Vivian Cunningham and one brother Lee Miles; three sister in laws and one brother in law; her best friends Mary and Gene Peterson, and Helen Porter; and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed by her community, church and her family.
Homegoing Celebration will be conducted 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem) with visitation at 12:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. In every effort to protect our client families, facial masks and/or coverings are required for the services.
