Nora Marie Charles, 92, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Brookstone Retirement Center. She was born November 29, 1929 in Davidson County to Jacob Charles and Eunice Bailey Charles Hedrick.
Ms. Charles retired from Coble Dairy after 33 years of service. She was a member of Second United Church of Christ and later attended Lexington Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Russell, Joe and Eugene Charles and three sisters: Frances Charles, Blanche Welch and Alice Layton.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Joni Hayes and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Brookstone Retirement Center Special Care Unit Nurses and CNA's for all the love and great care given to my mom.
A memorial service will be Sunday at 3:00pm at Freedom Baptist Church by Preacher Clyde Akers with family visitation at 2:30pm.
