Obituary
Norma Dean Holcomb Thompson "Sue" passed away at Alston Brook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
The family will receive friends and family Saturday after 2:00pm at the home. Graveside service will be Monday at Salisbury National Cemetery at 10:00 am.
Norma was born in Enterprise, Oklahoma to Manuel C. Holcomb and Edith Evelyn Reid Holcomb Lynn Cobb. Sue worked for Thrifty Stop and Dan Stamey in Tyro. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Elden J. Holcomb, Dillard M. Holcomb and Marion F. Holcomb and one sister, Imo Katherine H. Benson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Gilbert Ray Thompson of 61 years; three daughters, Rebecca Thompson (Daniel) Owens, Carla Sue Thompson (Perry) Tilly and Christy Thompson (Larry) Miller; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
