Norma Nadine Talbert, 72, passed away on February 13, 2024 at Hinkle Hospice House. She was born August 29, 1951 in Davidson County to General JC Talbert and Alberta Redwine Talbert.

She retired from Central Davidson Middle School. Mrs. Talbert attended New Jersey AME Zion Church as well as St. Stephen United Methodist Church. She was a member of Daughter of Isis and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

Mrs. Talbert was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: General Wayne Talbert, Don Re Talbert and Kenneth Talbert and sisters: Dorothy R. Talbert, Evelyn T. Roberts and Kiwana T. Crump.

Norma leaves to cherish her memory her children, David E. Williams and Kristie D. Williams; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Betty) Talbert, Sr. and Dwight Talbert; two sisters, Irma Talbert and Brenda Talbert and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday at 12:00 Noon at St. Stephen United Methodist Church with family visitation at 11:30am. Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.
