Patricia Ann Powers Anderson, age 74, entered Eternal rest Thursday, March 3, 2022 at her residence, Lexington, North Carolina. Born March 26, 1947 in Davidson County, North Carolina, Patricia was the daughter of the late Robert and Velma Davis Powers. During this most joyous season, we give thanksgiving to Our Almighty Lord and Savior for sharing his daughter with us. We will be forever grateful for the many family and friends who have shown their love and helped to make her transition a little more comforting.


She was educated in the public schools of Davidson County. Patricia was employed with Lexington Health Care in the Housekeeping Department for many years. She loved people and was involved in church and community. She was dedicated member of First Baptist Church-Village Drive, Lexington, North Carolina. She enjoyed shopping, listening to music, watching football and watching all of Tyler Perry's Madea movies. Patricia especially enjoyed watching her favorite night time drama "Sisters."


Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Luther David Anderson.


She is survived by her daughters: Darlene Anderson, Valeria Anderson, Monya Anderson and Tamera Anderson, all of Lexington , North Carolina, Patrice Anderson of Goldsboro, North Carolina and Lanae Anderson of High Point, North Carolina; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Natalie) Powers of Lexington, North Carolina; sisters, Linda Lewis of High Point, North Carolina and Veronica Powers of Lexington, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, March 11th, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Village Dr. at 1:00pm with family visitation at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery.
