Paul Wayne Hoke, 67 of Advance, North Carolina, passed on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Born in Fremont, Ohio on May 17, 1957, he was the son of the late Ralph Hoke and Mildred Schneider Hoke.
Paul was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mocksville, North Carolina. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Francis of Assisi Council #12610.
His formal education was in the public school system of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, graduating from Lakeview High School class of 1975. After graduating high school, Paul continued his studies at various higher learning institutions with completing his educational journey at the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina. Outside of spending time with his family, Paul enjoyed woodworking.
Paul is survived by his wife of 39 years Renée Thome Hoke of the home; two sons: Christopher Hoke of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Matthew Hoke of the home; a grandchild, Raegan Hoke; a brother, Scott Hoke of Dallas, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mocksville, North Carolina with Rev. Father Eric L. Kowalski officiating. Burial in Rose Cemetery will follow.
