Pauline Jones Hoover, 93, of John Hoover Rd., passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2:00pm at Yadkin Star Baptist Church with family visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1-8pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born on January 5, 1922 in Lauens, SC to Will Coleman Jones and Mary Walker Jones. She was a faithful member of Yadkin Star Baptist Church and served as a Sunday school teacher, sang with the Hoover Sisters and the senior choir. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Hoover; a son, Willie Hoover Sr.; four brothers, Daniel, Hollis, Ulysess and Marcellus Jones; and three sisters, Jessie J. Dalton, Sara J. Brown and Virginia J. Lanier.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter, Rachel H. Webb; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Mary S. Hoover; a brother, Joe (Bessie) Jones; four sisters, Pearl J. Roberts, Elizabeth J. Jackson, Annie J. Barnes and Peggy J. Anderson; a brother-in-law, Baxter Hoover; seven sisters-in-law, Katy Evans, Lois Andrews, Pearlene Moss, Mary Hoover, Katherine W. Hoover, Brenda Jones and Bertha Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
