Mrs. Pauline Tyson, 91, of Heron Rd., died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence.

Graveside service will be Sunday at South Lexington City Cemetery at 2:00pm.Public viewing will be Saturday from 1:00pm-5pm at Roberts Funeral Service.

She was born January 30, 1929 in Anson County to John Tyson and Easter Forte Tyson.She was a member of Union Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jefferson Tyson; a daughter, Betty Liles; two great-grandchildren and three sisters: Alice Maxwell, Elizabeth Merritt and Minnie Montgomery.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, John Tyson of Wadesboro, NC; a daughter, Carrie Ricks of Lexington; three sisters: Netta Kindle of Greensboro, Easter Georgianna Allen of Wadesboro and Mary Ricks of Lexington; 7 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
