Obituary


Peggy Ann Millen was born on October 15, 1941 in Davidson County to Lee Mabry and Anna Fowler Kelly. She passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025 at Hinkle Hospice House.

Peggy was of the Baptist faith and lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rodney Woodberry; her daughter, Andrea "Candy" Woodberry; two brothers, Willie Kelly and Ardel Fowler; and two sisters, Elosie Watson and Margie Baremore.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children: sons, Willis Woodberry, William (Trudy) Woodberry, Warren Woodberry, Michael Woodberry and Marcus (Gwen) Helton; daughters, Sandra (Michael) Rivera and Letisa Woodberry; step-sons, Julis Millen, Shawn Millen and James Millen; and a step-daughter, Suzette Dalancy. She was a proud grandmother to 26 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her three step-sisters: Annie Curry, Emma Curry and Linda Curry; a special longtime friend, Arthur Helton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center, with family visitation beginning at 1:30 PM.
