Mr. Prentice Rayshawn McMillian was born October 20, 1984 and departed from us unexpectedly on February 23, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Elma Key Johnson and his maternal grandmother, Wilma Jean McMillian.

Mr. McMillian was a graduate of North Forsyth High School and attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He was a loving, intellectual, family-driven individual who would give his last.

He was cherished by his mother, Pamela (Marlon) Nelums; his father, Prentice (Lonnell) Johnston; his sons, Landon Darden, Prentice McMillian, Jr., Zephaniah Cole and Javen Cole; his brothers; Mike (Charice) McMillian, Perry McMillian, Devontae McMillian and Jaquan McMillian; his sisters, Tory (Darryl) Love, Shannell Sheff and Jasmine Johnston; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Service (Winston-Salem) with visitation at 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
