Mr. Ray Edward Jackson, 77, of Kenny Lane, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 27th at 2:00pm at Christian Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

He was born on May 3, 1937 in Wilkesboro to the late Lindsay Jackson and Mary Burchette Jackson. He retired from Dakota Cotton Mill and was a member of Christian Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kay S. Jackson; three sons, Robert R. (Lonnette) Jackson, Randy (Michelle) Jackson and Jackie L. (Beverly) Jackson; a daughter, Monica K. Jackson; a brother, Harold D. (Sue) Jackson; four sisters, Darsie (Harliss) Brooks, Thelma (Thurman) Hill, Carolyn (Doug) Blackburn and Susan (Thomas) Stone; a sister-in-law, Ann Stone; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
