Obituary

Raymond Washington "RW" Lindsay, of the Midway Community, passed Saturday, November 8, 2014.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00pm at Brooks Temple UMC with family visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow in the Eller Family Cemetery with military honors.
Public viewing will be Friday from 1-7pm at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem.

He was born in Midway to Raymond W. Lindsay, Sr. and Maude Tuttle Lindsay on September 13, 1928. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired from Thomasville Chair Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John Lindsay, Lawrence Lindsay and James Lindsay.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 62 years, Grace L. Eller Lindsay; two children, Vanessa Lindsay Harris and Cecil Aaron Lindsay; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Annie Lee Parsons; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; an aunt, Ollie Tuttle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
