Rhonda Nichelle Hall Lewis, 52, affectionately known as "Pookie," was born on August 26, 1969 in Forsyth County. On March 7, 2022 after battling illnesses for several years, her life suddenly ended.

Rhonda was and will be remembered as a kind sweet hearted AND humorous person. She cared for others and willingly babysat for others. She had an endless love for children and those around her. She always wanted to be around her family. She would freely help others if she could. Her generous heart and giving spirit will be truly missed, and she will live in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronell Self; two aunts: Loretta Hall and Sandra Lawson.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Lamard Lewis; five sons: Antwuane Hall, Antonio Hall, Brian Hall, Tevin Hall and Shaquille Hall; four siblings: Arnita Hall, Banita Hall, Clara Hall, Anthony Hall; her mother, Willie Wright; step father, Harold Wright; a beloved best friend, William Braxton; aunts, Constance (Connie) Gilmore of Philadelphia, PA and Dr. Barbara Olaniyan of Suitland, MD; uncle, James Hall; grandchildren and an endless list of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Service Chapel (Winston-Salem). In every effort to protect our client families, sanitizing, facial coverings and or masks are required for the service.
