Obituary
Ricky Bernard Holmes was born September 17, 1964 to Sarah Floree Simpson Holmes and Fred Holmes, Jr.He departed this life on November 18, 2019.
He was educated in the Lexington City School System, Class of 1982 and received a degree from UNCG .He was a member of Servant House Ministry and employed with Facility Logistic Services LLC.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Benny Todd Simpson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his 6 sisters: Lady Barbara (Steve) Davis, Ann (Glenn) Craven, Sandra (Teddie) Smith, Theresa Holmes, Tammy (Ray) Peoples and Toinette Holmes; a brother, Dennis Holmes and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at Union Baptist Church at 2:00pm with family visitation at 1:30pm.Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
