Robert Rayshawn Baker, our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, family member and friend departed this life of 39 years, Monday, September 26, 2022. Robert was born on June 19, 1983 in Guilford County, North Carolina. His parents, Lester P. Roberts, Sr. and Marilyn Baker-Roberts were over-joyed with their "bundle of joy". This is a most difficult time for our family; we give thanksgiving for the years we shared Robert's life.


Robert received his formal education from the Guilford County public schools. He was formerly employed as a truck driver with J & K Trucking Company. He enjoyed life to the fullest and made sure all those around him had a smile from ear to ear. Robert will be missed more than words can convey. He leaves a void in our lives; he leaves us smiling through our tears.


A life filled with warmth and loving memories will forever be treasured by his family and friends. Those who survive are two sons, Syncear Ferguson-Baker and Keaton Baker; a daughter, Jamouri E. Baker; parents, Lester P. Baker, Sr. and Marylin Roberts-Baker; a brother, Lester P. Roberts, Jr.; five sisters: Shameka Johnson, Linda Baker, Marilyn Roberts, Sharnell Baker and Maynezze Roberts and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


The Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the Craven-Powell Chapel of the Roberts Funeral Service (Lexington).
